Message: I have taken several classes from Karen over the last few years and found that her love for the art and her enthusiasm is certainly contagious. Karen continues to be my teacher because every time I come into her studio, I have lots of questions and she is always ready to give me her very creative advice. Thanks Karen for being so patient with me!

Message: I have brought my sister and seven of our grandchildren to Karen's Creative Outlet and each of these visits have been a wonderful experience. I think our most recent "first-time" guests at the workshop summed it up best. One child said, "That was fun." The second child (7 yrs.old)said (13 yrs.old), "I'd do that again." The third child (9 yrs. old)added (without any prompting from me), "Miss Karen is a good teacher." Karen unlocks the artist within each of us in a warm and welcoming way. We will surely visit again. Message: About four years ago a mutual friend suggested I take throwing lessons from Karen. One of the better ideas I've heeded. Karen's teaching skill is top notch in my book. She has the capability to recognize the student's learning style and teach to that style. She balances the constructive criticism with praise that creates a positive attitude in the student. I have watched her conduct hand building classes for young children. Teaching to the variety of short attention span learning styles, she is able to hold the attention and teach the skills of hand building. If you are looking for an enjoyable and satisfying hobby Karen can teach you the skills and provide a friendly environment to practice them at her studio.

Message: I took a class here with others from my 4-H club. We made a birdhouse and plate. It was very fun and I loved being able to make and glaze my own piece rather than just painting a pre-made one. I would reccommend Our Creative Outlet to anyone who is looking for a unique party idea, new hobby, or just something to do for fun!
